Will malicious attachments in incoming emails be detected?

Hi All,

I am new to Jira, so I appreciate your knowledge.

I would like to share my email for my JSM, to create new issues or ask questions, with the public.  Being security minded, I am aware that outsiders could attempt to email malicious files as attachments.

What security measures does Jira have when an outsider sends a phishing email with a malicious attachment? Could my platform be infected if I open an attachment within it?

Thanks!
