Wildcard functionality on searching attachments

Is there a way when searching attachments you can search for partial info.  For instance, I know a part of an IP address I am looking for or a partial of a name

Not natively, you'd need to consider an app - for example:

• Search Attachments
• Attached Quick Finder
• ScriptRunner - not a direct search path, but this answer has a method of creating a field for "Attachment Name" which you could then search in
• Power JQL
