Why won't the Details section in the sidebar stay collapsed anymore?

I used to be able to collapse all the sidebar sections except my pinned fields so that I only had to look at what mattered most of the time, but could get to the rest if needed.

However, a month or so ago, the Details section stopped remembering when I collapsed it, and it always auto-opens when viewing a ticket, cluttering the view.

Is there any way to restore the previous functionality? Perhaps a setting I'm missing?

No solution here, just want to "up vote" this. Very annoying that this has changed recently
