Why won't my custom issue types show on my team-managed Jira Kanban Board?

Jordan Shapiro September 26, 2024

These issues are standard ticket types ... not sub-tasks.

These issues are not in backlog.

These issue statuses map to a status on my board.

I have set my quick filter to accommodate these issues.

Hello Jordan, how are you?, could you share a screenshot of the Team type project board, and also the Workflow configuration you have for issues?

Jordan Shapiro September 27, 2024

Hi Joaquin, thank you for reaching out!

Below are screenshots of my issue type list, Jira board, workflow, and the issue that isn't present

Perfect, do you have permission to view the project settings? in the board section

Jordan Shapiro September 27, 2024

I do!

Joaquin Mercado September 27, 2024

Go to the project settings, and check that all the created issues belong to your jira board that you indicated to me

Jordan Shapiro September 27, 2024

Hi Joaquin, is this what you're looking for?

Issue is available in the project list:

No, what I need to see is the internal configuration of the Jira project, that will allow me to analyze its structure, observe what the problem may be and provide you with a solution.

To access the project settings, go to the Jira board, in the main tab of the project, and in the left panel, look for the last option that says "Project Settings". Click on it and go to the "Board" section.

Joaquin Mercado September 27, 2024

If you cannot see the option, it means that you do not have permissions to manage the project. In that case I will not be able to help you, and it would be advisable to generate a ticket to support.

Thank you Joaqiun! I will speak to my IT team
