I managed to change the name of the Create transition in a workflow a couple of months ago, but can't do so in a workflow I just created.
The error is: The Jira server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation.
Hi @Phil Bustin ,
While you might be able to do so, why would you because it doesn't change the name of the blue Create button when creating an issue that uses that workflow? What's the added value?
Submission (not a Jira word?) into this sub-task workflow is always automatic, and I'm used to a different app in which precise submit transition names have some advantage. I'm not now as interested in adding value (if any) as in how I was able to change the name in one or two other workflows, but not this one.

Agree with @Dave Mathijs - There's really no reason to change that name. And it might be a simple as a browser caching issue or something like that. But, again, it doesn't really matter and you've probably already spent more time than necessary to investigate something that really shouldn't have any impact on you. Whether you can change the name or can't change the name really doesn't bring any value in my opinion.
