Why the label is getting removed when a Jira ticket is updated

The label was added to ticket

upon refresh of the ticket the label was removed

Hi @vshnu raj 

How this label was added? on issue creation?

Apart from workflow postfunction you may also want to check any automation rule that might be removing this label.

Hi @vshnu raj ,

 

Could you please check the issue history to find out whether the label is getting added on the issue successfully or not? If it is added, please check if it is automatically removed or not

 

If the label is not getting added (not reflecting in history on above check), please check if any other project/issue type is using the same workflow. Try to replicate the same there and replicate the same on a different project which is using the different workflow as there may be some workflow configuration preventing you to add the lablel.

 

Sometimes, very basic cache issue may be the cause of it, please try to use a different browser also.

Will you give us a bit more context if any add-ons are used?

Or is it when you are editing inline, you missed to click on add button.

Is it happening on all the projects in your instance or all issues in the project?
