Why the backlog card order not kept on the board?

Is it possible to adjust this?

What does your board filter look like? Are you using order by Rank?

Today my filter is like this:

project = EPMWN ORDER BY Rank ASC

Ok so when you order by rank then they should maintain the ranking. Some things to consider:

• ranking can appear disrupted depending on swimlanes
• ranking can appear disrupted based upon status (column)

however if you create a sprint and order the issues and then you start the sprint then the order should maintain. For example:

step 1 - you create a sprint and order as follows:

1. proj-555
2. proj-458
3. proj-872

step 2 - you start the Sprint then the order should be the same especially if you have a single swimlane
