Why isn't my automation working?

Hi can anyone shed any light why this simple automation isn't working?

I just want to be sent an email when anyone creates a new Epic in jira software.

It has never worked successfully and I can't figure out why.

Can you share what is in the automation rule's audit log? Are there any errors? Does the rule maybe send a message, but does it end up in spam, ... ?

Don't think they're going to spam. I occasionally get an email telling me the automation has tried and failed.

When I look at the audit log it shows a status of 'no actions performed' on all of the entries. When I click into them they say: Issue condition: The following issues did not match the condition and then the jira issue key.

Whilst I can understand this being the case for issues created that are not epics, I can identify that it says the same for issues that definitely ARE epics.
