Why is the assignee option missing in Jira Cloud bulk edit

Hi Community,

I’m using Jira Cloud since 1 year and I have noticed that when I try to bulk edit issues, the option to change the assignee is missing. I’ve checked my permissions and I do have the ability to assign issues individually.

Has anyone run into this before? Is there a setting I need to enable to get the bulk edit option for assignees?

Hi, 

the option is under Operation Details in Jira. 

First choose the "..." -> Bulk change work items : 

Choose the work items:

Choose your operation, in this case "Edit work items":

and change the assignee:

I also confirm that the Change Assignee option is present in Jira cloud as described by @Kai Krause
