Why is script runner mail hander not an option under handlers for setting up an incoming mail handle

I'm trying to set up an email handler for jira and leverage scriptrunner mail handler to create issues from email, but the option doesn't appear in the dropdown when I'm setting up the handler. Any ideas what I'm missing?
