Why is my automation rule not working?

I am trying to create an automation rule for when the main task (story) is finished, all secondary tasks (sub-tasks) should transition to "done". However, I am getting the following error message:

The error massage translates to:

Destination status could not be resolved. If using a smart value, make sure it resolves to a numeric status ID or an untranslated name for issues (with the current status): ATEAM-12717 (In Progress - 11706)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Christian - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

That can happen if the workflow does not have a transition from the current status to the new status. Of if there is a condition on the transition. Can you verify that with your workflow?
