Why is manual step greyed out in X ray test?

Ive installed the Xray test plug in app as a trial. I am unable to add the steps to an xray test as the Test details tab 'manual' test step is greyed out. It looks like I don't have the permission to add the steps. 

How can I resolve this?

Can you provide a screen image of what you are seeing?

Can you provide a larger image? That one is so small when I zoom in the text becomes fuzzy.

Also can you provide a full screen image? Do you not see a Create Step button as shown in the Quick Guide?

Have you confirmed that the Manual test type is enabled globally?
