Why is JETI format getting dumped when sending email?

Linda H
August 2, 2018

I have Jira Server  7.6.1 and I am using Email This Issue.

I used HTML code to totally customize the base template to pull in additional information from Jira and to customize the entire look of the email. It looks nothing like a standard Jeti template.  I have a header over 2 columns (not a table) background coloring for one of the columns and some colored border lines separating columns of information.  These are manual emails, sent by the user if needed.   The preview/test looks awesome, exactly how I want the email to look.

When I send the email all the pretty goes away. No columns, no borders, no background column coloring.  The text has the same font and same blue or gray color, but everything else is lost.

Any ideas or suggestions?EXAMPLE.png
