This is really inconvenient if you want to see ALL items within a given list, I don't want to have to click through lots of items to be able to open up the full list. Please can you restore the toggle or reactivate the ability to open all using the white square at the top of the item list and you are no longer showing the type of items, you have to open them to see that they are an epic or a story etc? It seems such a backwards step?
Hi Sharon - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Is this what you are talking about? Because it's still there.
Hi John,
Thanks, not completely new have just logged in using a different instance/account but appreciate the welcome nonetheless :)
I am looking at two projects one that follows the old Jira Work Management project template and a Jira Software project, in both LIST views you no longer have the ability to toggle the expand/collapse all. It still exists in Timeline and other views but not in list?
Also the white square no longer allows you to expand or collapse either?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Sharon

Maybe because it is based on Saved filters instead of Group? That's one difference I see between yours and mine. Also are these Team-managed or Company-managed?

The change was over a weekend and not due to any changes to filters etc, the other project has no filters applied. Team managed - but again this is a recent change as in a few days. One day i could expand/collapse, next day I could not?

Yes, I saw a notice in the last few weeks about some changes coming to boards. But not sure if that is affecting it or not.
