Why doesn't the version report consider remaining estimate in calculating burn up?

I'm trying to use the Jira Agile version report to track progress to our version end date, but it's only considering completed work based on the original estimates for completed issues. We have stories that are partially complete, but it isn't taking the remaining estimates into account to estimate for the predicted end date. This is skewing the results -- seems like a bug? Any options to get the right calculation?

I have the same question -- the estimate for our version report is off by months because it's using the original estimate, and not the remaining work. Help! We are looking to purchase this product, and this is a required feature for us.
