Why doesn't list view show any ticketdetails?

I have created a business project for my team based on the template 'Task tracking'. So far so good. However, the list view within the project does show the different tickets, but doesn't show any further details. All columns, but 'key' are empty, even though the variables are all filled.

Is this a common problem waiting to be fixed by Atlassian, or is this something we can fix ourselves within the organisation?

Hi @Eva Haaijer

a similar (same?) issue has been raised before; see https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Work-Management-Questions/quot-List-quot-function-does-not-populate-content-into-fields/qaq-p/1916245. Perhaps it's related to Company-managed vs. team-managed projects again?

Hope this helps,

Best,

Hannes

Just to add to the above - if you need a quick solution, you may want to try out JXL for Jira. It's a full-fledged list/spreadsheet view for your issues that works with all project types.

This is how it looks in action:
