Why does the remaining value line (red line) not start from the beginning of the sprint?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
As you can see, the red line doesn't start until almost mid sprint... I've checked the sprint dates to make sure there wasn't a lag between the sprint before this one ended and it was the difference of about an hour. Any ideas?
