Why does the 'Service Desk Team' role fail with a 'Bad Request' error when copying roles?

When copying project roles from a source to a target project, all roles were copied successfully except the "Service Desk Team" role, which resulted in a "Bad Request" error.Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Welcome to the community! Are you perhaps migrating between sites ? 

I think you might run into trouble with the Service Desk Team role as it is a standard project role for the Jira SM product. Copying or duplicating it might cause problems. 

I would recommend to keep the list of project roles short and neat. This is a global list you there is no possibility to have project unique roles. Depending on project you can then use more than one role (linking users or groups to a role and then give the role specific.

What are you trying to achieve with copying it?
