Why does my profile picture keep disappearing from my profile?

A few weeks ago, my profile picture disappeared.  Now, when I upload it, it does not stay.  It keeps disappearing.  What is going on?

Hi Sue, that is odd. I have not updated mine in forever so unclear if some new regression has occurred. For this I think I would suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support. however, it might be interesting to ask a colleague to give it a go and see if they experience the same thing or not.

BTW, I just had a look at JAC and found this issue - JSWCLOUD-16794 which sounds familiar but unsure if it is the same issue or not. TBH, I'm surprised this issue is still open and listed as a Suggestion rather than a bug.
