Why does Jira send invitation message to different email address

Why does Jira send invitation message to other email address while the usersaccess is provided on the different email address.

The users has two email address one is the organization email address and other is another domain email address. 

If we have added the users using the organization email address still the invitation email from JIRA is going to other email address which is a domain email address

This would require the configuration on the mail account, server, etc...

There is probably a primary mail address set and routing.
