Why do name headers overlap in the agile board?

In our agile board, we have swimlanes for each dev and columns for each status. When I scroll the board up, the name header for the previous dev overlaps the next dev, up to 100%, until I scroll just a bit more, and then finally disappears.

It is very confusing when overlapping 100%, as it makes me think I'm looking at the previous dev's swimlane!

This is a regression from our hosted Jira (v8.4.2#804003-sha1:d21414f), BTW.

Browser: Brave 1.5.115 Chromium: 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit)  but behaves the same on Safari.
