I created 3 boards so far under one project.
But when im under Project/Board2, i can still see backlogs from Board1.
Shouldnt it just show Board2's backlogs?
It is not showing "backlog from another board", it is showing "issues that have been included in other boards".
Boards are not containers for issues, they are a view of a selection of issues. If an issue is selected by more than one board, then it will appear in the card view or backlog as appropriate.
If you don't want something to appear in more than one board, then you need to make what the boards select unique, by amending their filters.
Thanks. I might need to get more familiar so basically if i want to have the tasks/isssues be separated i need to divide my overall master project into smaller projects. For example i need to get the following components done :
User Profile
Provider Profile
Admin Tool
So one way to keep the list of issues/tasks/bugs separated would be to create a project for each component?
Project User Profile
Project Provider Profile
Project Admin Tool

Hi Andrew - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Boards show issues on them based on the filter associated with the Board. So you need to look at the filter associated with Board2 to see which projects are being used.
