Why do I not see an option for components under Project settings?

I want to add components to a Project but I do not see the Component option in Project Settings. Is this an option that needs to be purchased?

Are you using a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project?

You can tell the difference between company-managed and team-managed projects by going to your project sidebar. In team-managed projects, the bottom-left of the sidebar says you're in a team-managed project.

Team-managed projects do not have the components feature yet. At the moment, only Company-managed projects do. However, there is a feature suggestion to add that feature in TMPs that you can vote and/or watch here:

What type of project are you using? Components are not currently available for Team-managed projects.
