Why can't I set an task as unasigned?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
All tasks, stories and epics that are created in my project starts assigned to me and I see an error saying "All itens must be assigned" when I try to set it as unsigned.
It looks like there's some kind of rule ou automation who sets this rule, but I didn't find nothing relacted in the project automation rules.
This issue is very annoying because I can't have the view about the itens that nobody is working yet, someone have any tip about how can I fix this?

Hi Clara,
If you are an admin go the global settings [upper right side settings], then select System, then General Configuration, then Edit Settings.
