Why can't I move a card into my new column?

In the Active Sprint view in Jira, I added a column for "UX Reviewed." I've tried a variety of Statuses for this column, which each have made the column show up in the Active Sprint View. So that part's fine!

My problem is: I can see the new column in the Active Sprint view, but can't move any cards into it. Why?

Thank you.

This is usually to do with the workflow behind the project/issuetype

Pick a card that you can't move and open the full view of it.  Check the status.  Then have a look at where you can transition it to from this view - are any of those to a status that is mapped into your new column?

Another trick is to check the "workflow diagram" if it's available, it'll show you a flow diagram which is probably easier to understand that the list of transitions, but the transitions it show may be protected by conditions, which would also stop you dragging into the new status.

Ohhh. That worked, thank you! I checked the Workflow Diagram and found out which steps could come next. Thank you for your help!
