Why can't I choose from existing versions through Kanban "Release" action button?

Hi,

When trying to release a version on a project through the use of a Kanban board, I only have the option to create a new version instead of having both that option & another one of choosing already existing versions from the project.

I think it would be really helpful to have that option because in some project teams, you have pre-defined versions (labeled as unreleased) that the team knows of & is preparing for the release.
