I'm editing an active workflow. I can add transitions to my hearts content but I can't add one from blocked to In progress. It just gives me

You cannot perform this operation on a draft workflow.

Hello @Tim Mazurco

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

It looks like currently there are no outgoing transitions from the Blocked status.

If that is true, then the information in this community Article explains how to address that.

You have to make such a change in a copy of the workflow and then swap the new/updated workflow into the workflow scheme.

Hi @Tim Mazurco and welcome to the Community!

There are some limitations when editing an active workflow, unfortunately. The Blocked status in your workflow does not seem to have any outgoing transitions yet, which is blocking you from adding other transitions into it as long as your workflow is active.

The most common workaround for this is to create a copy from your original workflow, edit the copy (it should work there) and then replace the old version of the workflow by the new version once you're done.

The steps to do this are pretty well described in this related thread.

Hope this helps!
