Why are we unable to view an attachment that has a forward slash, after being uploaded successfully

Hi,

It has been brought to our attention that Jira allows us to upload a file that contains a special character, in our case a forward slash character (/) in the attachments. However, after uploading it, if we try to open that attachment we are unable to view it. We get the following error message:

If we try to open the attachment in a new tab, right click-> Open in a new window, we are getting the following error message:

We would like to know, if Jira is okay with such attachments being uploaded, why are we not able to view them?
