Why are tasks marked as done still showing up as assigned to me on the Jira home screen?

Normally, when issues are marked as done, they do not show in the as assigned to me box on the jira home screen. I have one project where all done issues still show up under assigned to me. How do I change the settings to that one project to not have done issues show up in this view?

My guess would be that project has a workflow that is not setting the resolution on moving an issue from "not done" to "done". 

It needs to either have a screen on the transition that has the resolution field on it, or a post-function that sets it.

It means that the Resolution field is not set for these issues.
