Why are sprint edits appearing in multiple projects?

Hi all. I have two projects -- A and B.

When I create a new sprint in Project A it appears in Project B. (and vice versa)

When I delete a sprint from Project B it is removed from Project A. (and vice versa)

The only link between the two projects is that a large number of tickets from Project A were cloned and moved to Project B -- but edits on individual issues are not reflected across the projects, only changes relating to sprints like creation and deletion.

To go through the basics, these projects are using different workflows, and different boards.

Has anyone experienced this issue or know how to resolve it?
