Why are audit logs not being recorded in order?

Has anyone encountered an irregularity on the audit logs timestamp?

I have seen on the Audit log section that some logs reflect a discrepancy on the time they are being recorded, like the following:

  • 28 min ago
  • 30 min ago
  • 1 hour ago
  • 43 min ago
  • 2 hours ago

 

that 1 hour log should have been recorded before the 43 min log.

Is there a known reason why this happens?
