I added a new Screen (Finish Issue Screen) that is associated with the "Finish" workflow transition in my workflow.
The screen works appropriately and is displayed in a pop-up when a user is Finishing an issue. However; the issue fields are not editable. They appear in a view-only format.
The strange thing is that sometimes when I test this it works but most of the time it does not. This workflow applies to all my issue types so I don't think it's related to that.
Any help would be appreciated!
That is very odd. I can't think of a way to do that in Jira natively.
Do you have any javascript hacks on fields or in the announcement banner? Do you have ScriptRunner installed (it has a "Behaviours" module that could do this), or Quisapps field level security?
Nope, none of the above! It's very strange. I just removed the screen from the workflow and my users are editing this field from the main Edit Issue screen until I figure out what's going on!

I'd want to try two tests next:
