Why am i "not" a Jira admin ?

I have set up a Jira Cloud instance and although i am logged in with the user that i used to created the instance, it still shows me "not" to be the admin (see below screen-shot)

When you click on the gear icon in the upper right what do you see in the drop-down? If you have Jira admin permissions you’ll see something like this…

Hi @Cil Admin welcome to the Atlassian community.

Please be informed, as per the screenshot, you have the project admin permissions. Your organization will have another Jira admin who sets up the things.

You might want to raise internal Jira ticket for your permission issues.
