I recently got an invite to join a project thinking that it was a project from my client so I accepted the invite to check it out. Here's the email I got:
My client confirmed that this is not a project he created and I can also agree since it's not related to their business. Here are screenshots of the project:
I discovered that there are other members of the project who might have accidentally joined. There's no option to leave the project since I'm not an admin.
Here's a screen recording I created for reference: https://app.screencast.com/MIQTtj1KBQcQR
Are there any other users who are getting the same email invites? Are there any resolutions to this? Please advise, thanks!
I received the same and it appears to be a scam system that gets clients to pay for services that are not rendered after payment. After following the link in the email to the linked site you are given the illusion of being part of an active site which it is not if you watch the comments carefully and try to comment lol... Comment, leave the page, come back. All the same comments minus yours will be there again. I have also been in contact with the btc purchasing company that the site refers you to if you do not have the money in your account to fund the "transaction" to send your btc to be converted (you don't have an option in that.) to money through to your account or e-wallet.
