Why JIRA is giving two different Date format in reports ?

I am a new user to Jira and was exporting reports from Jira.

Jira is giving two different Date format. For few rows dates are coming as mm/dd/yyyy and for some rows, dates are coming as dd/mm/yyyy.

I have tried exporting report in XML and CSV but still the same.

Please suggest ?

What type of fields are the two columns?

Hi Nic, .. Thanks for reply. .. There is one column which has date but few of the rows are coming as mm/dd/yy format and few of the rows are coming as dd/mm/yy format.  I have tried exporting file in XML and CSV but both are giving same type of data.

The columns are of date time type.

Hmm.  I'm not sure that they are coming out in different formats.

Could you pick two of the issues above (from one column) - one where you think it's output month first, another where it's done day first.  What does the date column say for both of these when you look at the issue display?
