Why I can't install add-ons?

Juan Carlos García Garzón July 5, 2018

When I try to install or look for a new complement the marketplace page is empty. for example I tried to install https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/4977/email-this-issue?hosting=cloud&tab=overview but on the administration view the page is empty after click on free trial and redirected to my marketplace

There are a couple things to note. Some add-ons are only for server and some are only for cloud. That could be one issue. Also, add-ons have application versions that they have been tested against. If you don't see the add-on in the administration search it could be that you are trying to find a cloud add-on for server or vice versa. Or it could mean that the add-on craetor has not updated the listing to say that it is compatible with your version. If you happen to be on the self-hosted version of Jira you can manually download the add-on from the marketplace and upload it manually. Most of the time this will still work as the add-on vendors have to specifically go into the Marketplace list and say that their add-on still works with the newest versions.

Thanks Davin, I try to upload an add-on but I received a message error. Do you know another possible solution?Captura de pantalla 2018-07-06 a la(s) 12.47.03 p. m..png

Could you translate that? Or put in the the text so I can put it in Google Translate. I don't speak Spanish.

Thanks Davin, it looks like a temporal problem of JIRA
