Hello,

I upgraded my Jira Cloud account from Free to Standard.

But, I am not able  to delete a subtask that is connected to a story.

When I clicked the subtask I don't see the DELETE link or button.

Note: I am the admin.

What is the problem?

You need the project level permission to delete (not admin - admin rights give you the permission to administrate, never "do anything" as that's a security nightmare).

So, two things

Look at who has "delete issue" permission in the permission scheme for the project.  Add yourself

Do not delete issues (yes, including sub-tasks).  Delete means delete, it's gone.  This forum has at least three questions a week about getting deleted issues back.  You can't.  They're gone.  Don't do it.  (Ok, you can get them back, from a backup.  But it's a project in its own right)
