While data transfer from instance to another I get an error

I need to transfer a space from one instance to another (both are different domains). While trying to create a transfer and validate data, I get the belowerror as I created the schemes in source site and tried to migrate to the destination. It is proposing me to start conversion in source which is production and I need to will it affect the production if I covert the schemes?

As Gerusa said/linked page (and as it's stated there), converting schemes or roles in your production environment is a configuration change that updates how permissions are managed, but it does not delete your content.

Basically, the whole process is painless and should be done relatively quickly, but I'd also suggest that if there's any sandbox environment you could use (a copy of production), then I'd use that just to check and prepare for this change. What I've mainly seen is that there are no changes needed, and in case there are, admins would simply need to re-add fields to the schema (although all data would be preserved). 👀

I recommend you test the copy to a sandbox or a homologation environment before copy to destination site.
