While copy & past URL from Test step, it gets appended with some random characters

We have Zephyr Squad integrated with JIRA and all test management happens from there.

Recently came across a scenario where if we copy URL's from test steps and hitting in new tab, it gets appended with some random chars and URL becomes invalid.

We have workaround to paste first in a notepad and then copy into browser, but is there a solution for this ?

Example:

URL we copy from step: https://www.google.com

Broken URL : https://xn--www.google-tyg.com
