While cloning an issue the fields get auto populated in JIRA

Hi Team,

When you create a new issue within one of the project called CPMCU you have no problems with the below two fields, they stay blank and are not auto populated.

Date R&D Delivery

Date into working

When you Clone and move a issue on the move screen you leave these fields blank and then once the issue is moved it auto populates them without any request or action? I have not seen this before.

Kindly please check why these fields get auto populated, some more projects are also having same issue.

Hi Neeta,

Check the context for those custom fields. There might be a context where fields have a default value for certain projects. 

When it gets moved are the fields always populated with the same value across all of the projects where that is happening?
