Received an email on May 12, 2025, stating that my organization has been deleted. "team - 1613519846180 has been deleted due to inactivity." NO ORGANIZATION NAME IS GIVEN AND THERE IS NO HELP FROM WEBSITE OR PHONE HELP!!! How do I find out the meaning of this email?
Hello @Bob Irving
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You mentioned two different things; your "organization" being deleted and receiving a message that a "team" has been deleted.
First, the messages seem to be applicable to Jira Cloud, but you flagged your post as being for Jira Data Center. Can you confirm for us which you are actually using, please?
Jira Cloud is the Software-as-a-Service product where Atlassian handles the hosting. Jira Data Center hosting is handled by the customer themselves, with the software installed on servers managed by the customer.
Second, assuming that you are talking about Jira Cloud, are you an Organization Admin? If you access https://admin.atlassian.com do you see all the Organizations that you saw before receiving the message?
Third, after receiving the above message are you still able to access all the Jira products themselves that you were able to access before receiving the message?
I have not seen that specific message before, but it seems like the information in this article may apply if the thing that was delete was actually a "Team" rather than an Organization:

Lastly, if you are in fact using Jira Cloud are you paying for your subscription to the product or are you using a Free subscription? With a Free subscription you would not have access to open a support case with Atlassian directly as that level of service is reserved for paying customers. If you are paying for your subscription and are an administrator in your environment, then you would be able to open a support case with Atlassian through the page https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
If you are in fact using Jira Server or Data Center, you would need to have a non-expired license in order to be eligible for support from Atlassian.
