I am currently using the free plan of Jira and is unable to set SLA rules. Is this option not available for the free plan? If not, to which plan should I upgrade?

The key point here is that SLAs apply to the Jira Service Management product not Jira Software. You need to install JSM.

Hi @Ammu Chitra Nambiar

SLA Management is present in Free Plan as well.

You should be Project Administrator to configure SLA for JSM Project

Thanks,
Pramodh

Hi Ammu

The free plan includes SLA management for service management projects

https://www.atlassian.com/software/free

Project automation also includes a SLA threshold breached rule
