Where to find Role definitions

Looking for more detailed descriptions regarding the following Role types available in Jira.

Welcome to the Community!

Basically, Roles allow you to define a set of permissions that can be used per Jira project and be given to different users. 

For the roles that you see listed a few of them will be created by default out of the box, others will be added as a part of installing various apps.  You can also define your own custom roles.
