I'm trying the 'new fresh look' in Jira Cloud (where the top-bar menus are now in the sidebar down the left-hand-side, and when looking at a board there are tabs along the top like Timeline, Calendar, etc.)
I'm looking for the Issue Navigator (the view where you can search for items using Basic or JQL, do bulk changes (if you have permission), look in list or detail view, or export the search results)
The only place I could find is to go into a board, and then along the tabs across the top click "More" and select "All Work"
Is that the right? Or is there a better way and I've just stumbled upon a workaround to get to the same place?
Hi Darren,
If I am understanding you correctly, click in the Search both in the top right of the top nav bar, then select View all work items in the bottom of the screen.
Hi John
Actually I found it.
So, this is the 'new fresh look' that Atlassian are rolling out.
Where I found it (and you helped me look in another place, so thank you)
In the sidebar (down the left hand side) is "Filters":
and expand that and it's there:
The reason I hadn't seen it is because I usually have "Projects" expanded, and "Filters" is just off the bottom, and when I probably scrolled I didn't notice at first glance. I've since learned you can now 'customize sidebar' e.g. put "Filters" somewhere higher up the list. I'm still getting used to this new navigation... (I need to, I train for an Atlassian Partner so I need to get used to where everything's been relocated to, like "Project Settings", "Board Settings", and so on...)
but also (thanks to you) the Quick Search has now been moved from the top-right to the top-center in the new UI, and yes it's there too at the bottom, just like you said :-)
