Where do agile boards go to when a project is deleted?

When a project has agile boards, and you delete the project, where do the agile boards go to?

  • Are they deleted as well?
  • Do they stay behind ....somewhere in the database?
  • Or something else?

Nowhere, boards do not belong to projects.  They'll stop working if their filter includes a deleted project, but editing the filter to correct that will fix the board.

So there is no need to clean up the boards but only the filter that was used to create the board.

As filters can be used for several dashboards and gadgets, this is tricky to do.

Yes, it is a bit of a pain.

There's a nice little scanner built into Botron's project configurator add-on that will scan boards and filters and give you a list of the ones "with problems", but I'm not sure it's available outside that add-on.
