We are using a "Next-gen" project, whenever I click on "Create" button on the top (blue colored button) the issue gets into the "Backlog" section and I want the newly created tickets to be visible on the Board rather than being visible on the "Backlog" section.

Many people have the same issue but no one has a resolution for this: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/How-can-I-create-tickets-on-a-board-or-in-the-backlog-using/qaq-p/978899

FYI, we also want the "Backlog" feature and can't disable it from the features.

That defeats the purpose of having a backlog.  So go to project settings -> features and turn it off, as you don't need it.

Hello @Yashwanth Kumar Sarika,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

When using backlog + sprints on a next-gen project, it's expected that all new tickets will be listed in the backlog, this is not an issue.

On the backlog we can create, start and plan future sprints, so when a new ticket is created, it will be listed on the backlog and it's necessary to manually move to the active sprint, so it will show on the board.

The only way to create tickets to show directly on the board is by doing what Nic mentioned, turn off the backlog on the Feature's page, otherwise, it will be necessary to manually move the new tickets to the active sprint.

Regards,
Angélica
