When updating a ticket and not saving, there should be better notification

We are experiencing issues when updating tickets. If a user leaves a ticket and returns later, the update notification is not prominent enough. It is very small and can easily be overlooked, which has led to tickets being developed without incorporating necessary updates. This has resulted in client dissatisfaction.

The unsaved changes should be more prominent to avoid missing updates.
Has this been an issue for others?

Hi Trena,

This is just an end user forum. You will need to contact Atlassian Support to offer the suggestion.

Hi @Trena Norcia,

You are definitely not alone in this. While Jira Cloud’s "draft" feature is designed to prevent data loss, the visual indicator for Unsaved changes is subtle, often just a small gray text that blends into the UI.

We solved this through user training during onboarding and 1-2 reminders in our tips and tricks intranet section.

Hello @Trena Norcia ,

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)

We agree that a bigger and more visually prominent message would be helpful for the users and hence have a feature request for the same

Thank you
