I am PM on a project with an external dev team. The team has access to Jira and the sprint and I have assigned the Dev to each task. Tempo is link to our Jira and accessible through the tasks, however, the assigned dev does not appear in the User field when I enter his name. How do I get this dev to appear in the User field to log time in tempo. The result of this issue is now the hours he logs do not appear in the timesheet even though I filter by issue only.

Hello Adam,

Welcome to Atlassian community!

The problem you mentioned must be probably caused by misconfigured permissions.

Is the user you mentioned the only one who is not appearing for you or is any other users also not displaying when you clicked in the field?

I would check the following permissions:

- Check if you have the Browse Users global permission

- Check if you have the Tempo Permission To grant Log Work for Others

- Check if the dev has the Work on Issues permission

Let us know your results once you checked the suggestions above.

Thanks Petterson. I figured it out, it was a Team issue, I had to add this specific developer to a Team assigned to this Project in Tempo. Thanks for the suggestion though, much appreciated!
