When changing issue status from in Progree to Send to QA - somehow task is becoming done

When press on send to QA there is a popup where I can change issue status and also resolution/ I'm changing it to "in QA" but somehow task ID is strikeout and it looks like task is done. But it can be strikeout only when task is in done. Please help to figure out what settings should I change to get rid of this.

When you fill in a resolution, Jira considers the issue to be "resolved", and hence strikes it out as needing no more attention.

You need to remove the resolution field from the transition screen that is attached to "go to  QA", so that you do not set a resolution inadvertently.

Go to Admin -> Screens, find the ones that are broken (i.e. have resolution on them) and edit them.

You need admin rights to do this though.
