When adding confluence link to an issue using the new issue layout, it does not autosuggest pages

Using Jira cloud, I've added the correct confluence space under project settings.  In an issue using the new issue layout, when I add a confluence link, it only shows ~10 of the last updated pages in the dropdown.  When I type a page name, it does not show in the dropdown list.  I'd expect it to work like autocomplete elsewhere, so that I start typing a page name and it fills the dropdown with page names that include the typed text.  It isn't doing that.

Any suggestions on how to get this working?

Hello Alex,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The "Link Confluence page" feature is different from the Pages feature in the project.

When linking a project to a Confluence space, those pages will be helpful for you and your team to find documentation related to that project, and the "Link Confluence page" allows you to link pages from any space.

I believe that the issue that you are facing is related to a bug, where it only shows the recently viewed pages and doesn't show the page if you search.

Please, click on "This affects my team" and also watch so that you are notified when this is fixed in a future release.

Regards,
Angélica
